I’ve been in the kitchen a lot lately after starting a sugar-free 100-day challenge (more on that to come) and I wanted to share some items that are true work-horses for me. I use these items *almost* everyday and they make cooking and cleaning a breeze.

  1. I use this Le Creuset skillet for most meals and the size is great. It’s enameled cast iron so you can cook anything in it and its simple to clean too!
  2. Whether I’m making pancakes or mixing up veggies to roast, I use these melamine bowls. The three different sizes come in handy for mixing dry and wet ingredients separately, they come with lids for storing in the fridge, and they’re dishwasher safe.
  3. I received some Norwex products as gifts this Christmas and can’t stop using them now. This EnviroCloth is perfect for wiping down counters and cleaning up kid messes.
  4. Okay, this is the MOST USED item in my kitchen. This knife practically lives on my counter because I use it so much it doesn’t even make sense to put it in the drawer. It can handle anything (except maybe a watermelon or butternut squash) and anytime it gets a little dull, we sharpen it up and it cuts like butter again. But please don’t put your Cutco in the dishwasher – I’m looking at you, Dad!
  5. We have a lot of Yeti products at our house (Hello, they’re Austin born!) and the wine tumbler is my go-to come happy hour. It keeps your wine (or diet coke) cold and bonus – its dishwasher safe.
  6. I like a tidy looking pantry cabinet and these OXO pop containers keep all of our snacks and cooking ingredients organized and visible. They stack nicely, have varying sizes to accommodate lots of different foods, and keep your food fresh.
  7. I use my Kitchenaid Mixer the most for making pizza dough (Our tradition: homemade pizza Fridays) and the professional series allows me room to make two batches at once.
  8. I found these Sistema Baking Containers ages ago and have only been adding to my collection ever since. They stack nicely, keep all my baking ingredients fresh and come with measuring cups. Sometimes I can score a few at Marshall’s or Homegoods on discount!
  9. This spoon-spatula goes hand-in-hand with my Le Crueset skillet and gets used just as often. It’s useful no matter what you are cooking and dishwasher safe.
  10. I’ve been looking for new kitchen towels for a while now – ones that are absorptive, dry fast and lint-free – and these Norwex Kitchen Towels do not disappoint. I also received these this past Christmas so I’ll let you know how they hold up in the long run.

Do you have any kitchen favorites? I’d love to hear about them! And let me know how you like the products above if you make the plunge and try them out.

You can always find a running list of my favorites by category on My Favorites Page.
